Christa Lam, MVB, is a Veterinary Intern at MedVet Chicago, where she joined the team in 2025.
Dr. Christa Lam earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in animal science and psychology, along with a minor in environmental studies, from California Polytechnic State University. She then completed her veterinary education at University College Dublin in Ireland, earning her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Lam has a special interest in emergency medicine, where quick decision-making and hands-on care can make a life-saving difference. She is especially driven by the opportunity to guide pet owners through urgent situations with clarity and compassion, ensuring every patient receives the attention and support they need in their most vulnerable moments.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Christa Lam enjoys traveling to experience different cultures, cuisines, and landscapes.
