Cameron Dow, DVM, MBA, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Phoenix, where he began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Cameron Dow earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with minors in chemistry, mathematics, physics, and Spanish from the University of Arizona. Following his undergraduate studies, he served as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer, completing multiple deployments that included both peacekeeping and combat operations. He later earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and went on to complete a Master of Business Administration from National University.
Originally focused on equine and small animal care, Dr. Dow began his veterinary career as a private practice owner before transitioning into Emergency Medicine. He has a strong interest in Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and diagnostic ultrasound, and thrives on the fast pace and complexity of emergency care. In addition to clinical practice, he has served on the Investigative Committee for the state veterinary medical board and held an Executive Board position with the state veterinary medical association—demonstrating his commitment to professional leadership and growth.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Cameron Dow enjoys spending time with family and friends. He’s an avid hiker and fitness enthusiast, and he stays intellectually engaged through books, podcasts, and following the NBA.
