Caitlyn Gunther, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Cincinnati, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Caitlyn Gunther earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of Kentucky and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Although interested in all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Gunther has a strong interest in Cardiology, emergency surgery, and shelter medicine. She finds great fulfillment in educating pet families and empowering them to make informed decisions, all while continuing to expand her knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving veterinary profession.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Caitlyn Gunther enjoys cheering on local sports teams, exploring new destinations through travel, and sharing the calming presence of her registered therapy dog.
