Anda Young, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVECC, is a Board-certified Specialist in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care at MedVet Columbus, where she began caring for patients in 2026.
Dr. Anda Young earned a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from Kent State University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in veterinary clinical sciences. Following veterinary school, Dr. Young completed an internship in emergency medicine at VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center and a residency in emergency medicine at The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center.
Dr. Young’s professional interests include coagulation disorders, electrolyte management, nutrition, pain management, surgical critical care, and trauma. She is especially passionate about managing complex, critically ill patients and values the opportunity to apply advanced critical care medicine during life-threatening emergencies.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Anda Young enjoys thrift shopping, rehabilitating furniture, indoor gardening, and spending time with her family, including her cat, Lola.
