Ana González, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Avian & Exotics at MedVet Hilliard and MedVet Dayton, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. González earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus. She then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
She has special interests in emergency medicine, exotics and wildlife medicine, neurology, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. González enjoys the unique challenges that come with working with non-traditional species and is passionate about providing individualized care that supports both the pet and the people who love them.
One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is guiding pets through illness or injury and witnessing their recovery. She finds deep fulfillment in restoring their health and strengthening the human-animal bond along the way. From an early age, Dr. González was inspired to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their caregivers, and that passion continues to drive her every day.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Ana González enjoys hiking, road trips, visiting the beach, and exploring new places. She has a love for discovering local cuisine and trying new restaurants, and she treasures quiet moments at home with her cats and quality time with loved ones.
