Amber Moses, DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (Oncology) is a Board-Certified Veterinary Oncology, has been a member of the MedVet New Orleans team since 2025.
Dr. Amber Moses attended Louisiana State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Moses completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship and a specialty oncology internship at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a residency in medical oncology at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Moses is passionate about client communication and compassionate education, ensuring pet owners feel informed and supported throughout their pet’s medical journey. She finds great fulfillment in guiding families through treatment options and providing the knowledge they need to make confident, well-informed decisions. One of her greatest joys in veterinary medicine is helping pets receive the best possible care, allowing them to enjoy more quality time with their families.
Outside of work, Dr. Amber Moses enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and unwinding with a good book.
