Amanda Saulnier-Boyd, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Northern Utah, where she has been a part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Amanda Saulnier-Boyd earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia, where she majored in fisheries and wildlife with a pre-veterinary emphasis and completed minors in biology and ecology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She also completed a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at VCA Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency Center.
Dr. Saulnier-Boyd is drawn to the fast-paced and dynamic nature of emergency medicine. She finds great fulfillment in helping pets and their families during critical moments and enjoys the opportunity to apply a wide range of medical skills each day. Her professional interests include emergency surgery, neurology, and zoological medicine.
Outside of the veterinary profession, Dr. Amanda Saulnier-Boyd enjoys hiking, skiing (both snow and water), and traveling.
