Allison Kavanagh, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Chicago, where she joined the team in 2025.
Dr. Allison Kavanagh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience from the University of Michigan. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Kavanagh has particular interests in feline medicine, gastrointestinal diseases, and diagnostic imaging. She finds great fulfillment in helping pets and their families by providing compassionate care and clear communication, ensuring owners fully understand and participate in the health decisions of their companions.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Allison Kavanagh enjoys playing pickleball, practicing yoga, and traveling.
