Alex Radtke, DVM, is Residency Trained in Veterinary Radiology. She joined the VetRad team in 2023 and she is currently supporting the WestVet Boise hospital.
Dr. Radtke completed a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Wisconsin. She earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Following this, she completed a large animal medicine and surgery internship at Tennessee Equine Hospital and returned to the University of Wisconsin to complete a veterinary radiology residency.
Dr. Radtke is fascinated by many areas of veterinary medicine. She has special interests in intervention radiology, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is working in a highly collaborative environment, solving complex problems, and improving the lives of pets in her care.
Outside of our hospital, Dr. Alex Radtke enjoys disc golf, hiking, horse riding, kayaking, and rock climbing.
