Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Review and Updates

This live interactive medical program for veterinary professionals will review the current Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation (RECOVER) initiative cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) guidelines. In addition, this course will provide an overview on prevention and preparedness, basic life support (BLS), advanced life support (ALS), monitoring, and post-resuscitation care.

Learning Objectives

  1. Learn evidence-based cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) guideline techniques for dogs and cats.
  2. Learn the current RECOVER CPR algorithm for basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS).
  3. How to provide post-resuscitation care.

Wound Management

This live interactive medical program for veterinary professionals will review stages of wound healing and types of wound management. This course will focus on open wound management with bandage care plus wound dressing.
