Marcia D. Martin, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Mobile, where she has been part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Marcia Martin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University. She continued her education at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. In addition to her formal education, she is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.
Her clinical interests include Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, as well as integrative approaches such as Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and holistic veterinary care. Dr. Martin is passionate about blending modern medicine with alternative therapies to support the overall health and wellbeing of her patients. What Dr. Martin finds most rewarding about veterinary medicine is the opportunity to guide pets through their healing journeys while supporting the families who love them. She enjoys the challenge of emergency care and values the trust that clients place in her during their pet’s most vulnerable moments.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Marcia Martin enjoys studying sculpture and painting, reading biographies and historical works, and traveling every chance she gets. She also shares her life with her cat, Floyd—whom she affectionately describes as the most fabulous of beasts.
