Kayla Burnham, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at WestVet Boise where she joined the team in 2022.
Dr. Burnham attended Evergreen State College. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University.
Dr. Kayla Burnham has a special interest in small animal emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and wildlife rehabilitation. Her favorite aspect of the veterinary profession is making connections with people and positively impacting their lives by providing care to their pets. She enjoys providing support and education to pet family members to help them care for their pets as best they can and for as long as possible.
When away from the hospital, she enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, camping, crafting, and listening to true crime podcasts.
