Robert Sander, VMD, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Chicago, where he has been contributing since 2024.
Dr. Sander earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a minor in mathematics from the University of Washington. He then completed his Veterinary Medical Doctor degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following his veterinary degree, Dr. Sander completed a small animal rotating internship at NorthStar Vets and a specialty internship in veterinary surgery at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists.
Dr. Sander is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a particular interest in surgery. He finds the most fulfillment in helping people and their companions achieve the best quality of life possible.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Robert Sander enjoys biking, hiking, rock climbing, and running.
