Maya D. Brooks, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Cincinnati, where she has been part of the team since 2023.
Dr. Maya Brooks attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Brooks has a special interest in emergency medicine, neurology, and ophthalmology. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the interaction and emotional bond formed with pets during treatment. She also enjoys communicating with clients to make sure their pets receive the best care.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Maya Brooks has a passion for cosmetology and the creativity of doing hair, makeup, and nails for herself and her colleagues. She stays active with various types of fitness, such as dancing and swimming.
