Maëva C. Erickson, DVM, Diplomate, ACVR, is a Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist at MedVet Dallas, where she has been part of the team since 2023.
Dr. Erickson attended Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she earned her Bachelor Degree of Veterinary Medicine. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Liège College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire Frégis and a radiology internship at the Animal Oncology & Imaging (AOI) Center. Dr. Maëva Erickson completed her radiology residency at the University of Georgia.
Dr. Erickson has contributed to veterinary publications, including the Journal of Small Animal Practice, Veterinary Clinics of North America: Exotic Animal Practice, The Canadian Veterinary Journal, and the American Veterinary Medical Association Journal.
Dr. Erickson has a special interest in abdominal imaging and vascular anomalies. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is that specializing in radiology allows her to work with a wide range of species and imaging modalities, creating large and varied opportunities for pet care. Her day-to-day is incredibly fascinating and interesting.
In her free time, Dr. Maëva Erickson enjoys riding horses. As a teenager, she competed in dressage and continues to love the equestrian sport to this day. She enjoys spending time outside with her husband, Tyler, and one of their five cats, who is a wonderful hiking buddy.
