Jess Eisenbarth, DVM, Diplomate, ACVECC, is a Board-certified Specialist in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care. She joined the MedVet Chicago team in 2023.

Dr. Eisenbarth studied biology at Kansas State University where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Tufts University Foster Hospital for Small Animals. Following this, Dr. Eisenbarth completed a zoological and wildlife medicine internship at Auburn University. She then returned to Tufts to complete her small animal emergency & critical care residency.

Dr. Eisenbarth is fascinated by many areas of veterinary medicine and has special interests in coagulopathies, sepsis, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), exotic animal critical care, and geriatric animal care. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is making connections with both pets and their owners. She greatly enjoys helping pets through critical illnesses and sending them home to their loving families.

When not helping pets feel better, Dr. Jess Eisenbarth is an avid reader who likes spending time outdoors and eating really good food.
