Jason Novak, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Lexington. He has been a part of the MedVet team since 2011.
Dr. Jason Novak attended Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Science. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
In addition to his clinical endeavors, Dr. Novak has had his written work on liver disease, Indicators of liver disease: Performing a physical examination and a minimum database are the first steps in exploring liver disease published in a veterinary publication. Although interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine, he is particularly interested in the integration of medical and surgical techniques to assist in the improvement of patient care. Dr. Novak’s favorite part of being a veterinarian is being able to play a part in reuniting families after a pet has faced a significant health challenge.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Novak is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys weight training and target shooting. He is also an avid audiophile and technophile.
