Good Grief
This live interactive non-medical program for veterinary professionals will provide an overview on grief theories and how they can be applied at various stages of the veterinary care process. In addition, this program will review specific strategies to use when working with clients through their grief process.
Learning Objectives
- Define grief and mourning as it relates to pets.
- Differentiate between types of grief and factors that contribute to mourning.
- Tools to help cope with grief due to the loss of a pet.
