Capnography Interpretation for Technicians
This live interactive medical program for veterinary technicians will review the circulatory system and learn how carbon dioxide travels in the body and is diffused into the pulmonary system. This session will focus on the differences, advantages, and disadvantages of partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide and end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2), as well as normal and abnormal capnography waveforms. In addition, this course will include an overview of the types of monitors for capnography.

Pick Your Poison: Toxins in Veterinary Medicine
This live interactive medical program for veterinary technicians will review the clinical signs, pathophysiology, and progression of toxicity in common toxic exposures encountered in small animal practice with an emphasis on how toxin dose, species differences, and time to presentation influence clinical outcomes. In addition, this session will review appropriate diagnostic plans for suspected toxin exposures based on case presentation and toxin type, plus how to apply treatment strategies and emergency interventions for a variety of toxin-related emergencies. This course will also review how to assess prognosis and provide follow-up care based on toxin class and severity of clinical signs.
