Martha J. Wenger, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Cincinnati, where she has been part of the team since 2023.
Dr. Wenger attended the University of Wyoming where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and Spanish Language-Linguistics. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in addition to completing a rotating internship at MedVet Cincinnati.
She was the 2023 Pet Tribute Scholar at Kansas State University in recognition of her compassion and professionalism in support of clients who have suffered the loss of a pet.
Dr. Martha Wenger has contributed to veterinary publications including Parasites Vectors. She has a special interest in internal medicine, specifically nephrology. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is working with clients to advocate for patients, provide quality care, and practice thoughtful medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Martha Wenger enjoys vocal performances including classical choir and operetta. She also likes to read and get outside, especially in high-altitude geographic regions with cold, crisp mountain air.
