Lauren A. Hirsch, DVM, is a veterinary intern at MedVet New Orleans and MedVet Mandeville, where she has been part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Hirsch graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology from Tulane University. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Hirsch has a special interest in internal medicine, wound management, and oncology. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the privilege of using her understanding of physiology and pathology, along with available diagnostics, to better understand the diseases in her patients. This allows her to create a treatment plan that improves the quality of life for the pet and brings peace of mind to their loving family.
Dr. Lauren A. Hirsch has a passion for the arts, having taken nine years of classical voice and piano lessons.
