John Edwards, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian who joined the MedVet New Orleans and MedVet Mandeville teams in 2018. Dr. John Edwards earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Science from the University of Illinois and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University.
Along with his passion for emergency medicine, Dr. Edwards maintains an interest in geriatric patients, shelter medicine, and exotics. When not in the ER, he enjoys skiing, rock climbing, canoeing, fishing, comic books, and Chicago sports.
