Palak Shah, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Cincinnati, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Palak Shah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed a Rotating Small Animal Medicine and Surgery internship at Madison Veterinary Specialists.
Dr. Shah has a special interest in Surgery. She enjoys the opportunity to connect with pets and the people who care for them, and is passionate about delivering attentive, skilled care to improve her patients’ comfort and quality of life.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Palak Shah enjoys expressing her creativity through music and dance. She plays the guitar, flute, and piano, sings, and is a trained Indian classical dancer.
